Steps to your Pre-Designed fundraiser

Register

Register with Fun-Raise USA and receive your fundraising account and fundraising webpage, along with several other fundraising resources. 

Establish a quick plan to reach your fundraising goal

Once your webpage, automated phone service and fundraiser has been established, it is important to formulate a quick fundraising plan, for instance a mass text campaign, in order to reach the fundraising goal that you set. Always set high but reasonable goals in order to maximize on your efforts.

Promote your campaign and reach out to your supporters

Promoting and informing your supporters is the key to becoming successful in fundraising. Send out your webpage link by text or email and utilize social media to make people aware of your fundraiser.

Receive your earnings and the products purchased during the fundraiser

Once your supporters begin to order from your Fun-Raise USA webpage or automated phone line, the monies go into your fundraising account and transferred into your bank account.  Fun-Raise USA also ships you the products that were purchased by your supporters during your fundraiser. The fundraising orders of the supporters will be shipped to the fundraising party.

Distribute products sold during the fundraiser

After you have made the funds that you had set out to make, it is extremely important to make sure that your supporters receive the products that they purchased. This increases the chance of future support. 

All fundraising items purchased by supporters will be delivered to the fundraising party on Tuesdays and Fridays of every week. (Excluding national holidays)

Steps to Starting your Fundraising account

Registration

You must first register with Fun-Raise USA. At this point you will receive your e-commerce fundraising webpage, automated answering capabilities and other resources provided by Fun-Raise USA.  

Build your fundraising webpage

Upon submitting your registration, you will be directed to submit your fundraising webpage information, be sure to present three (3) paragraphs and three (3) photos. Please limit your opening paragraph to 50 words. Paragraphs two (2) and three (3) can be as large as you want, there is no word limit on the last two paragraphs. 

Agreement to terms and conditions

After submitting the information for your fundraising webpage, you will receive the Fun-Raise USA Platform Policy Agreement. The platform agreement explains the terms and conditions of fundraising with Fun-Raise USA. Your agreement to terms is confirmed by your e-signature at the bottom of the policy agreement.

Establish payment acceptance method

Once we have received your agreement to terms and conditions of the policy agreement, you will be directed to create your fundraising account. Fundraisers must receive their earnings through ACH transfer. For security purposes, transactions can only be made through FDIC regulated bank accounts.

How your fundraising funds are earned

Fun-Raise USA does the majority of the labor for you, your fundraising webpage displays and sells products to your supporters on your behalf. The platform then allows the transaction to take place between you and your supporters. Afterward, we take care of the ordering, processing and shipping of the products purchased through the fundraiser. The platform will  also collect and process any donations given to your cause.


To support your fundraising cause, your supporters purchase items from your fundraising webpage. Each time a supporter supports the fundraiser by purchasing an item, your fundraiser will earn a base amount on that product with the ability to increase your earnings through the "Support Booster."


WHAT IS A "SUPPORT BOOSTER"?

"Support Boosters" are extra monies that are generated, on your behalf, in addition to the items being fundraised.  Once a supporter decides on a product from your fundraising webpage, Fun-Raise USA gives them the option to select a "Support Booster".  A "Support Booster" adds more value to the fundraiser by increasing the monies being contributed toward the cause. Basically, the "Support Booster" encourages supporters to give additional funds, increasing your ability to reach your fundraising goal. 


An Example of How it Works:

When fundraising items, each item has a base amount that you can make on each product. For instance, when the base price (what you earn) is $3.00 on an item, each time an item is purchased, the minimum you will receive is $3.00.  As your "Support Boosters" increase, so does your base price.

Once a supporter decides to make a purchase of an item, Fun-Raise USA gives the supporter the option to choose a "Support Booster," which allows them to add a small donation on top of the purchase. The more monies you earn from the "Support Booster," the bigger your base amount becomes. (See example below)


EXAMPLE OF A FUN-RAISE USA FUNDRAISER WITH A $3.00 BASE AMOUNT:

*$3.00 Base when you receive a Support Booster of $0.00.* (No transaction fee)

*$3.25 Base when you receive a Support Booster of $1.50 to $5.00.* (fees apply)

*$3.50 Base when you receive a Support Booster of $10.00.* (fees apply)

*$3.80 Base when you receive a Support Booster of $15.00.* (fees apply)

*$4.00 Base when you receive a Support Booster of $20.00.* (fees apply)

(Support Booster fees do not apply when no Support Booster is given toward your cause.)


When a supporter chooses a $5 "Support Booster", they have chosen to give an extra $5.00, on top of their purchase. In this case, the fundraising party will earn $8.25  from the purchase/donation. (Before applicable fees)


When you are fundraising items with a base earnings of $3.00, you have the potential to earn up to $24.00 from each item sold. (The average earned is $7.75 an item  depending on the "Support Booster" contributions.)  Each Fun-Raise USA fundraiser has different "Base Amounts" depending on the fundraiser being administered at that time.


*The Base Amount is the amount of funds that are made on each item purchased.*

If an item is purchased without a Support Booster, Fun-Raise USA grants the fundraising party $3.00 per item with no transaction fee. 


*The fundraising commissions for each fundraiser will be listed under the tab "Current Fundraiser," at the top of the website, within the navigation menu.*

Product/Processing Fees

There is no cost to operate your fundraiser through Fun-Raise USA, however there are small fees associated with each transaction when conducting your fundraiser through the platform. (For instance, there is a $.10 cents product fee for every gift card sold during the Gift Card Fundraiser.) 

Product fees vary depending on the fundraiser in operation. To learn more regarding the fees of the current fundraiser, click the tab, “Current Fundraiser” in the navigation menu.

All donations carry a $1.99 processing fee. (No product fee is applied)

All items fundraised carry a product fee. (No processing fee is applied)

Transaction Fees

Transaction Fees are 3% of any item sold or any donation made toward a fundraiser. 

Support Booster Fees

The Support Booster fees are $.10 per $1.00. (This fee is only applied when the fundraising party generates extra funds through the "Support Booster" promotion)

Managing your fundraiser

Easy Execution

Managing your fundraiser is simple and easy. As a fundraising party on the platform, you are given a fundraising account that allows you to monitor your fundraising earnings and the number of purchases/donations made. The account also gives you access to the Help and Resource Center, provides you with an on-line fundraising manual and grants you access to change or update your banking information to receive your fundraising earnings.

Purchases are made directly through your e-commerce fundraising webpage which eliminates hours of administrative paperwork. 

After the purchase or donation is made, the monies go into your account and Fun-Raise USA delivers you the purchased products to distribute to your supporters.  Once the fundraiser is complete, you will be able to access and operate the next fundraiser, which will immediately succeed each "current fundraiser".

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it totally free to fundraise with Fun-Raise USA?

The Fun-Raise USA fundraising platform is totally free to join and operate. Fees are only associated after a supportive purchase or donation is made. 

How long does it take to receive your funds through Fun-Raise USA?

It normally requires 1 to 2 business days for your fundraising earnings to appear into your fundraising account.  Fun-Raise USA transfers these monies into your bank account and this pay out is made once every week. Fundraisers are granted the ability to receive their monies at anytime, however, a small $2 fee is added to commission transfers made after the initial free commission transfer. Commission payouts will be awarded in the form of an ACH transfer. In order to receive commissions you must have a bank account with a FDIC regulated bank. This is for the protection and security of you the fundraiser, your supporters and Fun-Raise USA.

After a supporter makes a purchase, when will they receive their purchase?

All fundraising items purchased by supporters will be delivered to the fundraising party on Tuesdays and Fridays of every week. (Excluding national holidays)

Can a supporter still give support without ordering through the fundraising webpage?

If an individual wishes to purchase from your fundraiser but does not want to purchase on-line, they can call 877-737-7656 and support the fundraiser  through an automated answering service. Make sure they mention your fundraiser and fundraising code when ordering.

Does each fundraiser earn the same commission for each product?

Each fundraiser operates the same way, however, the commissions are different depending on the fundraiser. You will be notified of the new fundraiser and its commissions through email, text and/or through your fundraising account.

Can the fundraising party still sell door to door and/or apply other traditional methods?

Yes. Fun-Raise USA does not suggest or promote door-to-door fundraising, however it is up to the fundraiser if they wish to use that method of fundraising. 

How do you monitor the progress of the fundraisier during the fundraiser?

All fundraisers can be monitored through your Fun-Raise USA fundraising account. You can check daily on your progress, as well as obtain other information and resources that can assist you in the success of your fundraiser.
