The Hazelwood Community Justice Scholarship at UC Blue Ash

The Hazelwood Community Justice Scholarships are financed and operated by the Hazelwood Community Organization, as well as the Blue Ash Police Department. Both entities along with the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash provide two scholarships every college school year for two deserving students.

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

The Hazelwood Community Justice Scholarships are given to two students at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. The Blue Ash Police Department is also very instrumental in the scholarships success.. "Reaching out to the young members of our community supports our mission to build strong and lasting relationships." Blue Ash Police Chief, Scott Noel. These two scholarships display the bond within the community and is one of the reasons Blue Ash was named one of the top 100 places to live in America.

The scholarship is available to all University of Cincinnati Blue Ash students who maintain a 2.5 G.P.A. Applicants are also required to submit an essay explaining their definition of community justice. If you know anyone at UC Blue Ash who may quality, please make them aware of the opportunity. (Preference is given to Hazelwood Community residents)

The community is one that is still centered around an equal opportunity for all Americans to live comfortably while pursuing the American Dream. Hazelwood is located in Blue Ash, Ohio which was once chosen as "America's top 100 communities to raise a family".

Hazelwood is still home of the Hazelwood Community Day which brings back generations of Hazelwood residents who had the opportunity to experience this wonderful community. The event is a festival with food, drinks and good times.
